About Mrs. Eby

Hi, my name is Karen Eby and I teach Kindergarten at Village Oaks Elementary School, located in Novi, Michigan.

This will be my 14th year teaching.  This will be my second year at Village Oaks teaching all day Kindergarten.  I previously taught at Orchard Hills.   At Orchard Hills I taught half day Kindergarten for two years and was a literacy specialist for two years.

Before teaching in Novi I taught in Eaton Rapids, Michigan for four years.  There I was a Title I/At Risk reading teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, and Kindergarten teacher. 

My first four years of teaching were in Watervliet, Michigan.

 There I taught first, second, and third grades.

My husband David and I live in South Lyon, Michigan and have a four year old daughter Emily, our son Raymond was born in October 2009 and  we have a wonderful dog named Jesse.

I truly love what I do.
